Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S Thompson

I have never read this book or seen this movie, so I was not sure what to expect. I have to admit - I don't get what all the fuss is about. The book was okay, but it was really repetitive and kind of boring. I am going to try and watch the movie soon now that I have read the book, and see if I like it better.

Red Lily by Nora Roberts

Red Lily is the third book in this trilogy. I loved it! It tied everything together and left me with no questions at the end of the book. I am not sure that I agree that this story took three books to do the story justice, but it was a very good story. I highly recommend this series (and have to my mom) to anyone looking for an easy read.

Black Rose by Nora Roberts

This is the second book in a trilogy. I really enjoyed the first book once I got into it and Black Rose was really good. The story moved along very quickly and I read it in just a couple of days. I can't wait to read the third book in the series Red Lily.

Little Men by Louisa May Alcott

I read Little Women when I was in Junior High. I thought it was an okay novel, but it was so long. Once the movie came out, I liked the book even less. I thought I would give Little Men a chance though and I really enjoyed it. I loved each of the boys and their quirks. This book was very long though and got a little boring in some parts, but I still suggest it to others.

Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen

Water for Elephants is one of the best books I have read in awhile. It has been sitting on my bookshelf for about 6 months. I kept hearing people talk about it but I did not think I would like it. I recommend this book for everyone to read. I just gave it to my mom but she is having the same reservations that I did. She is going to at least try it as a favor to me :)
